Reminder to LOGOFF from your RDP session:
This is a gentle reminder to all Sheltair employees still using the RDP Servers. Please LOGOFF after you have completed your daily tasks on the servers. The inactive user session causes idling on the virtual server and slows down the overall experience for all active users. Additionally, an idle session can lead to critical problems such as “temporary profile” lockup on a user’s account. Most importantly, if scheduled maintenance is being done and users are not actively connected, it ultimately hinders the completion of essential tasks.
1. Please note that clicking on the “X” on the virtual banner does NOT disconnect your session.
2. You must click on the desktop link to “LOGOFF”
- If this icon not currently on your virtual desktop, @Sheltair Help Desk will be delighted to add this shortcut for you. Please send an email to the help desk and a support specialist will assist you.
3. In the event you do not have an icon you can simply Click on “Start” > “Power” > “Disconnect”
- This ends your connection.
Sheltair Family, thank you in advance for your co-operation.
