On Desktop (Outlook App):

Open Outlook:
- Launch Outlook on your computer.

Go to the Rules Menu:
- Click on the Home tab in the ribbon.
- Select Rules > Manage Rules & Alerts.

Create a New Rule:
- In the Rules and Alerts window, click New Rule.

Select a Template:
- Choose Move messages from someone to a folder or Apply rule on messages I receive under Start from a blank rule.

Set Conditions:
- Specify criteria for the emails you want to route. For example:
- From a specific sender.
- With certain keywords in the subject line.
- Sent to a specific email address.

Specify the Folder:
- Click Move the item to folder in the action list.
- Select the folder or create a new one by clicking New Folder.

Finish the Rule:
- Click Next, set any exceptions if necessary, and then click Finish.

Save and Apply:
- Click Apply and then OK.
On Outlook Web (Outlook.com):

Sign in to Outlook Web:
- Go to Outlook.com and log in.

Access Rules Settings:
- Click the Settings (gear icon) in the top-right corner.
- Select View all Outlook settings > Mail > Rules.

Create a Rule:
- Click Add new rule.
- Name the rule (e.g., "Move to Folder").
- Set conditions (e.g., "From" or "Subject includes").
- Choose an action, such as Move to folder, and select or create a folder.

Save the Rule:
- Click Save to activate the rule.
Test the Rule
- Send a test email or wait for a relevant email to arrive to ensure it is routed to the specified folder.
